The Water Technology Alliance (WTA) is very excited to invite you to our join Stormwater and Rainwater Handling Webinar with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) and Aarhus Vand. The webinar will take place on February 6 at 7.30 AM - 10.30 AM Central Daylight Time (CDT) and 2.30 PM - 5.30 PM Danish time (CET). 

The topic of the webinar will highlight both similarities and differences between managing stormwater and rainwater in Chicago and Aarhus, as well as explain the accompanying terminology.

MWRD and Aarhus Vand will each present their approach and insights. The webinar will then be split into two groups where you will get the opportunity to discuss solutions with either Aarhus Vand or MWRD. It is up to you which group you wish to join as an attendee.

Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago

MWRD is one of the biggest water operators in the world, with seven utilities in the Greater Chicago Area. They serve over 12 million people and are frontrunners within stormwater management. The WTA and MWRD have cooperated for almost a decade by sharing knowledge on sustainable and energy-efficient wastewater solutions.

Aarhus Vand

Aarhus Vand is a Danish municipality-owned utility that works to supply drinking water and provide wastewater treatment of the highest quality to more than 300,000 customers in the Aarhus Area. They are considered industry leaders in minimalizing the environmental impact of utilities and integrating digital operating systems.
